This kitchen cabinet painting project was completed in a Margaritaville home in Daytona Beach with a traditional design and builder-grade wood cabinets. The cabinets were painted in Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee, creating a bright, timeless look that complements the home’s coastal style. The kitchen originally had tile with a transition strip, but the flooring was continued into the kitchen to create a more open and seamless flow. Shiplap was installed underneath and around the back of the island by the homeowner, and we painted it to finish the look. The shiplap wraps around the back of the island and extends around the corner where the chairs are located, adding texture and visual interest to the space.
